Milan - From now until June 20th, the fashion world will witness a series of grand debuts and significant confirmations as Milan Fashion Week showcases the men's collection for Spring/Summer 2024. The event calendar for the week-long men's fashion extravaganza was unveiled this morning at Palazzo Parigi, presented by Carlo Capasa, President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana), Alessia Cappello, Councilor for Economic Development with responsibilities in Fashion and Design, and Constanza Etro, founder and creative director of the Fashion Film Festival Milano. The Fashion Film Festival is held in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Fashion and with the support of the Municipality, featuring numerous events from June 12th to June 19th, coinciding with MFW Men's Collection.

Two fashion powerhouses will set the tone for the week, with Valentino returning to Milan with its men's line on June 16th and Zegna closing the physical runway shows on June 19th. The fashion event will also see the debut of several brands, including Andersson Bell, Maccapani, Maison Laponte, Marcello Pipitone - Bonola, MCM, Setchu, and Skin of Nature.

"The calendar for this edition of Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection is packed with important events, presentations, and runway shows. Valentino will mark the opening of the fashion show calendar this season, while Zegna will bring it to a close. This fashion week brings renewed energy to Milan, which continues to be an international city and a center of industry, art, and culture," said Carlo Capasa, President of CNMI. "This edition will also coincide with the Fashion Film Festival Milano, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and synergy across all forms of creativity. The FFFM will further open up fashion to the city, forging a closer relationship with all the citizens of Milan. It is worth noting that after many editions, we are also expecting a significant return of Chinese press and buyers, a crucial market for our sector. This can only be seen as a positive outlook for the upcoming Fashion Week."

"The June edition of Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection, along with other key fashion events in the city, reaffirms Milan's strong connection to this sector," stated Alessia Cappello, Councilor for Economic Development with responsibilities in Fashion and Design. "It is a unique, innovative, and productive bond that makes our city an exceptional stage for creativity, skill, and craftsmanship. Behind the glamour and innovation of the shows, there is a reality of high-quality artisanal manufacturing and excellence, a significant production chain for the economic fabric of our city and country. The week dedicated to men's runways and shows will be enriched by the Fashion Film Festival Milano, which combines and unites the art of fashion with that of cinema."

For this edition, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, the Municipality of Milan, and Yes Milano have collaborated on the communication campaign for Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection Spring/Summer 2024. The campaign features iconic locations in Milan and emerging talents as protagonists and was shot by photographer Marco Imperatore with styling by Roberta Astarita. It will be displayed on billboards and screens throughout the Municipality of Milan from June 9th to June 20th.

The events and runway shows of Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection Spring/Summer 2024, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ICE Agency, and the Municipality of Milan, can be streamed on the milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it platform.
